Rolled cookies are a pain to make. Especially with a cookie dough so soft, I thought my fridge had broken down, I need a really really good RECIPE!!!! Anyone has one to share?

Five MUTLTI-COLOURED, STRIPY, ROLLED heart piñata cookies took us an entire morning and generated so much marbled scrap dough we had no idea what to do with the stuff; plus, they weren’t even that fantastic. So why did we bother?

There’s a secret message in the cookie, from a girl to a guy she hopes will open up her heart and find it.

I’m not usually one for sappy love stories, but if it involves a cookie, I’m on. But I’ll keep this post short, until I find out how this story turns out.

Thanks! I only hope the guy that received these knew the amount of hard work that she put into them. Ah, the things we do for love…:)

Yeah most people don’t know how much hard work and time consuming baking these types of cookies are. Fingers crossed it all goes well 🙂

They’re glued together with flooding-consistency royal icing.

I think the guy’s quite sentimental. Heard he actually insisted on keeping the little piece of paper, even though it was all greasy from the cookies by the time he’d read it! Sweet! 🙂
