Cake Fairy Tales

Life's better with cake and a sprinkle of fairy dust

Watch-wind it up good

Baked this cake for a guy who is a watch afficionado and owns a company selling watchwinders which I found out, thanks to Google, are expensive little gadgets that keep your prized watch collection happy and working. One of the best challenges I’ve ever had. The whole cake is edible, even the details are made from edible icing images and sugarpaste. To make the super shiny metallic watch face, I laid on some pure silver leaf (totally edible). This was a super fun cake to make. Read more comments and pictures about this cake here!
